Businesses must protect e-mail
According to analyst firm Gartner, 80 per cent of business people say they consider e-mail more valuable than the phone for business communications. However, Gartner also estimates that most SMEs experience more than 40 total hours of unplanned e-mail downtime each year, which can translate into significant financial losses.
E-mail has changed the way business is conducted and reliance on this medium is only expected to grow with the increase in mobile devices.
Disaster recovery application continuity appliances enable companies to deploy comprehensive, cost-effective e-mail continuity by protecting mission critical servers. The key to selecting a continuity solution is outage avoidance.
Website Infections
Attacks designed to infect the computers of visitors to company websites increased in the first half of the year. According to the Sophos Security Threat report, there has been a significant increase in website infections as well as a growth in spear-phishing (targeted phishing attacks on a small number of individuals). Spear-phishing has often gone unnoticed because it affected a small number of people, but has grown as criminals increased their ability to trick individuals into parting with financial information.
Apple IPhone 3G
The new Apple IPhone is directly supported by Windows server network.
E-mail on the go has never been easier.
